Dissertation: The Distance Education MBA program culminates in a 15,000 word dissertation. Progression through the The program is divided into semesters of study for six months (January to June and July-December), di screte delivered learning modules and units. You will be assigned a tutor for each module on how to provide you with general academic support and feedback on the tutor assessed assignments. They are experienced

teachers and practitioners, most of whom have completed an Online MS in IT. They form the first point of contact, usually by e-mail, and are available to answer individual questions

on the module material. After registration, you will also receive a list of contact details for colleagues who live in your geographic region.

Residential Seminars

Residential seminars are an important feature of the program. They are held in Durham over a long weekend - Friday Monday - March / April and September. This is only

part of the program for which participation is mandatory. You are encouraged to attend the seminars as often as possible, but in case of difficulty exemptions can be sought.

Evaluation

Exams take place in June and December each year, with loads examined courses, dissertations and business reports presented at or near the time of examination data. Once enrolled on the modules chosen, you will be expected to undergo evaluation at the next ordinary, although there is an opportunity to delay, in case of difficulty or a

change in circumstances.
